When the pandemic forced SafeWise, a life skills training charity, to close its physical centres, it seemed like the end of an era. But the team was determined to adapt and evolve. Their vision? A completely virtual platform that could teach essential life skills to students in Key Stages 2 and 3. The challenge was clear: we needed to create an engaging, scalable digital learning solution that was accessible to all schools.
DELIVERED
We worked closely with 360 Skills For Life to design a fully immersive online environment. The digital platform teaches a wide range of essential life skills – from how to cross the road safely, to dealing with gang crime, to developing strategies to stay safe online – through engaging virtual scenarios. Our solution leverages existing school technology, allowing schools to access the training via interactive whiteboards, without the need for expensive hardware. By moving online, we removed physical barriers and built a digital town that’s accessible to everyone, anywhere, at any time.
EXCEEDED
Our approach not only secured funding from NHS England but also opened the door to future growth. By removing the reliance on physical centres, we’ve created a sustainable, scalable model that can reach more students than ever before. With plans to expand training for ages up to 21, 360 Skills For Life is now poised to revolutionise life skills education, providing every child with the tools to navigate life – not just exams.
