IT Support Engineer

As part of our continued business growth we are looking to expand our IT team, and are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team. The IT Support Engineer will be based in our Leeds office and will be part of the team responsible for day-to-day support management of all internal systems across multiple sites.

We are looking for someone who is confident to be the first point of contact for users, taking the time to understand their issues and share our approach of “fix it once”.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acting as first point of contact for all IT support related queries.
  • Investigating and resolving technical issues on both Apple and Windows OS.
  • Monitor NAS and Window servers as well as looking after networked devices and responding to common user application issues.
  • Be responsible for onboarding and Off-boarding users via cloud services.
  • Support and maintain a high level of security.
  • Software installation and patching.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in working within an IT support role.
  • Excellent Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, team-working and customer service skills.
  • Be self motivated and able to handle a varied workload within a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have the drive to seek out and learn new skills that always ensures you can meet the company needs as it grows.
  • Experience working within a creative, agency environment is desirable.
  • Experience working Cloud technologies including Google workspace, Microsoft 365.
  • Must have a full UK drivers licence with own transport.
  • Knowledge of Antivirus Management.
  • Experience with Powershell.
  • Previous use of MDM technologies and implementation.

ESSENTIAL PREVIOUS SKILLS

  • IP Networking and protocols.
  • Firewall configuration and management.
  • Switch configuration, management and routing.
  • AD and Azure AD configuration.

LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS

Based in Leeds, you will be working from the Kirkstall office, with occasional travel to other sites required. 9am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
